The next PEA day out is on Sunday 13th April. We will be tree planting with Moor Trees at Wedlake Farm, Peter Tavy. We will be leaving the office at 9.15am
Places are limited to the number of people we can fit in the minibus and some places will be taken by the "regular" volunteers so if you would like to come please email us as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

About PEA
Plymouth Environmental Action (PEA) is an organisation which carries out practical conservation of the natural environment, protection and preservation of our local heritage and which is lead by a dedicated committee of young people aged 16 to 25 years. We are gratefully supported by the Heritage Lottery Young Roots Fund and BTCV in Plymouth. Examples of projects that we carry out are tree-planting, beach cleans, biological surveys, dry-stone walling, building outdoor classrooms, pond creation and dipping platforms, rhododendron clearance (known as rhode bashing!) and other invasive species removal, bush-craft activities, and many other exciting events!
One of the benefits of having a youth lead group means that potential volunteers can get involved in running the group or simply come out at the weekends. Any young person can get involved, no matter what their background, skills or experiences. The committee meets on Monday evenings at the BTCV office and practical projects take place on Saturdays all over Plymouth's green places and the surrounding area, including Dartmoor. We also have a number of residentials lined up which cover entire weekends.
The gallery below gives you a flavour of some of the work we do. More photos can be found on our blog under the 'Home' tab or in 'Member's photos'

Some of the places we go to can be a little remote!

Sometimes it takes a skilled driver to get us there.

Happy birthday Chris!

We don't get cake every week!

But we often get rained on.

We've done tree planting...

...Path maintainance...

...and bush craft amongst other things
